A trailer for my YouTube channel.
A flyer I designed for Oakland’s Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment. You can pick one up and play some vintage games at their GDC exhibit in San Francisco later this month. I’ll be there too!
I’m about a year late with this but a few people asked where some of these tumbleweeds came from so I finally added the sources as closed captions on YouTube. Maybe you missed this supercut last time around so here it is again.
Music is by Joel Robson. It was commissioned by the Columbus Museum of Art. The titles are in Bookman Old Style (font joke!).
Joel and I are working on a new video which I’m pretty excited about. I could still use a little more help with it.
Coins 2
I made a quick mini sequel to this stupid supercut about New Super Mario Brothers 2. This is mostly so I could read more of YouTube’s bizarre auto-transcription poetry:
falling klein wine point clean risk for a twenty point lead clean clean clean
clean it for you point two million collegeboard corridor and controlling
collins controlling scoring conclude greatest ninety nine twenty one point
one point one point one point screen for you
Tried doing the hourly comic thing yesterday. Feel pretty weird about posting them but here they are. I’d like to get back into the weekly comic routine but there’s a couple of big projects I need to get out of the way first.
“Eclipse” - minigame by Duncan Robson aka @dunkr
Hello! I’m still making these microgames over on microcartridge. I usually choose mundane subjects like grating cheese rather than base games on other games but I made an exception for the Sworcery AV jam.
Meanwhile, I’m looking into some slightly more advanced (but less portable) development tools and trying to make video game connections in The Bay Area. I’d love to meet up with some local people for a game jam or something. Let me know if you’re interested.
Mashup of the Super Hexagon trailer (great iOS game by Terry Cavanagh) and The Hexagons (Look Around You). Music by Chipzel. Voice by Jenn Frank.
